This page explains how Vaylido uses cookies and similar technologies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) are small pieces of information saved on your device. They let a website remember you between pages and visits.

2. What Vaylido uses today

Vaylido uses essential storage, plus first-party analytics that is on by default and can be switched off:

  • Sign-in session: keeps you logged in securely.
  • Return page: remembers which page to open after you log in.
  • Your cookie choices: remembers the preferences you set on this page.
  • Analytics ID: on by default; you can switch it off here (see below).
  • Travelpayouts Drive: on by default; saved opt-outs and Global Privacy Control prevent loading.

3. Analytics

Analytics is on by default. While it is on, Vaylido records the page you visit, your device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), the website that referred you, and a random anonymous ID saved in your browser. We don't record your name, email, or location, and we don't use outside analytics companies. Turning Analytics off stops recording and deletes the anonymous ID from your device.

4. Marketing and partners

Travelpayouts Drive is an optional third-party service that can connect eligible travel links to affiliate programs and measure referrals. Marketing & partners is on by default, unless you have saved an opt-out or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. The service may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy. Turning this choice off and saving reloads the page to stop the script. Previously stored partner cookies can be removed through your browser settings.

5. Third-party services

When you sign in with Google, open a map link, or visit a partner website, those services may set their own cookies under their own policies. Hotel photos and place details come from Google Maps Platform.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage will prevent you from staying signed in to Vaylido.
